I HAVE A DREAM – 50 YEARS LATER
“Next week, the first black U.S. president, a living symbol of the racial progress civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed about, will stand near the spot where King stood 50 years ago and say where he believes the nation should be headed.” – Washington (AP)
HAVE WE FULFILLED DR. KING’S DREAM?

Looking forward to hearing what our president has to say. I don’t believe the dream has fully been realized as yet.

No the dream has not been totally fulfilled, but with prayer and good people like yourself we may get there!

I’m happy I was able to experience having our first African American President and I hope to see our first woman President too. We’ve come a long way in some fronts but still have lots of work to do in the fight for equality for all.

Oh yes, I think in our lifetime we will see a female president. Just hope her time is office won’t be a tough!
