Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
Well we made it through another week and for that I am thankful. It was a roller coaster of events with all the strange things happening in the world. I continue to pray for the 3 kidnapped victims in Cleveland and no matter what he did in his past, Charles Ramsey, you are definitely to be commended for being at the right place at the right time – thank you bro!
The heat is on so I chose to wear a skirt instead of jeans as I normally do on casual Fridays.
Maxi skirt – Old Navy (last season) // Top – Rugged Wearhouse
Gladiator Sandals – DSW
I hope the temps remain high as the pool is scheduled to be opened next week!
Watch – Avon // Ring & Bracelets – jewelry box // nails be be done this afternoon!

Today is my last day at work until next Tuesday, the 2nd of April and I am counting down the hours! Looking forward to relaxing but more importantly cleaning out my closets! Getting ready for the 1st Flea Market of the season and will be gathering unused clothes and household items in order to make a little extra cash.
This is my favorite maxi skirt and I will be keeping it because the print can be paired with a variety of tops and shoes, therefore, it will always be a closet staple.

D~Foss Custom Jewelry

on:My husband recently had a few pieces of custom jewelry designed by D~Foss Custom Jewelry. Donna Foster, creator of D~Foss Custom Jewelry, has been crafting since childhood but only recently decided to turn her hobby into a profitable business. She began making jewelry exclusively for family members and friends but after attending a vendor show she realized that she could create pieces that were better made and more reasonable in cost.
In 2012, after much research and faith Donna began D-Foss Custom Jewelry and although challenging she has found the experience rewarding. Donna will make jewelry for men, women and children with prices ranging from $5 to $60 depending on time and material. She also has pre-made jewelry for vendor shows and all her jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty, any repairs are done at no additional cost.
Personalized necklace and bracelets has our son’s name on them

Friday at the Flea Market
Posted September 19, 2012
on:Last Friday Tayair and I went to Spence’s Bazaar to walk around as well as to see a friend of mine who has a small shop inside one of the buildings. I didn’t buy anything except a few rings and bracelets but it was fun walking around, seeing odd items including a juke box and a wooden sled.
It was a beautiful end-of-summer day made more so because it was spent with my oldest son
I hadn’t seen a juke box since the last time watching an episode of “Happy Days“
After we left the Flea Market I took Tayair to see where I had lived during high school and my first apartment during my college years, both places were vacant!
Our day ended at Papa Johns, Tayair’s favorite food is pizza. You can tell by looking at him that he had just as much fun with his mom as I did with my son. It was truly a great day for the both of us, despite it being the anniversary of my sister’s death.
Flea Market Saturday – “Getting Rid of Stuff 1 Saturday a Month At A Time”
Posted August 4, 2012
on:
On the first Saturday of each month you can set up tables to sell new and used items for a fee of $15.00, at The Dutch Country Farmers Market in Middletown. In June I made over $150.00, but last month it was too darn hot, so today the boys and I went and got a great spot in the shade – thanks Sister Jeanette!!!
I try not to spend my profits but today was not a good selling day so I walked around to check out the other vendors and came across this Raggedy Anne Doll for $1.00 to add to my collection.
We got up early so Tayair decided to nap and Malik stayed in the air conditioned car for most of the morning.
If you are a collector of old newspapers and magazines, these were being sold for $5.00 a piece.
Of course I purchased more jewelry from my favorite $1.00 vendor, and a tripod for my camera. All in all it was a good day and I am looking forward to next month.
