Today’s outfit post is a 2fer, the first one was worn last Thursday the day of the torrential downpour and the second I wore yesterday.
What is your take on the Denim Skirt which was very popular in the ’90’s.

Have a fantastical day – Smooches!
Monday…Monday…Monday…and what a beautiful day it is – the Lord has truly blessed us with a gorgeous pre-Autumn day. I am happy to be able to turn off the AC and open up the windows, I will however miss the heat but not the high electric bills! I had planned on clearing out my closet over the weekend but decided to work outside instead. In addition to the shoes scattered on my closet floor I have a lot of skirts hanging. It’s time to start wearing them more frequently so that I can determine what to keep and what to donate. This week the theme “a skirt a day”, starts with an Army green denim which is perfect for today’s brisk weather.

on:Happy Thursday, and thank goodness that we on the horizon to the weekend! I’ve been watching some of the results of the 2012 Olympic games and losing sleep because of it so Saturday I will definitely be sleeping in. For today’s outfit I mixed a purple print because these floral sandals sat in my closet for over a year waiting for a solid match.

on:No makeup, heels or jewelry, only shorts/tanks, sandals and a bathing suit for 5 wonderful, sun-filled days. Whether it’s called a VACATION or STAYCATION, living “the Life of Riley” is a beautiful thing. Sleeping in late; eating breakfast on the back deck; poolside lounging; laughing with and loving family and friends was the perfect way to spend the long July 4th Holiday. It was also the first time that we did not go out to watch fireworks, I did however, watch Wawa Welcome America and loved Lauryn Hill’s surprise performance. I was also able to watch more of the Twilight Zone Marathon, “Time Enough At Last” with Burgess Meredith is my favorite episode! I did do a little yard work and paid the price with my annual case of poison ivy – oh how I hate the itch!!!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and now it’s back to reality!
