Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
Yesterday I was reviewing some old posts from 2012, and saw this OOTD post dated July 25th, then realized that I wore the same skirt on Tuesday July 9th of this year. I guess it will now become my go-to skirt for July, at least I wore a different top but not sure which look I like better.

on:Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday!
Yay, today my energy level is high, and I am getting excited about having off next week – I hope to take a day or two and just do nothing! I also plan to use a day to clean out my closets and prepare a large Goodwill donation before the end of the year. Raising a glass to a productive and stress free day – cheers!

How do you like the pattern mixing of the poncho with the top? I used to love wearing Ponchos in High School.

Today’s outfit of the day features a skirt hubby gave me last year for Eid al-Fitr, which is the Islamic holiday celebrating the end of Ramadan. In addition to this Kimono Skirt he also ordered for me a few other skirts and tunics from EastEssence.com all of which I love. This white, cotton, wrap skirt is very flattering and the hand-stitched embellishment, piping around the pockets and buttons really enhances the look. This is a large which is my normal size and it falls loosely over the hips and is not binding, I would have worn my shirt tucked in as shown on the website but you can see my underwear so I decided against it – hubby agreed!

on:Why is it that when you are on vacation you tend to buy things that you wouldn’t normally wear at home. That happened to me while in Florida a few years ago when I fell head over heels in love with these gold tone gladiator sandals. Now I can count on one hand just how many times I have actually worn them! It’s not like they are uncomfortable, they are just a bit too shiny for my taste. I have decided to wear them just one more time before they are packed with the rest of the Goodwill donations.
