Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
This is the last full week of April, can you believe that this time next week it will be May 3rd and Memorial Day will be on the calendar? So many things happened this week, some of them good others not so much but I shall not dwell on the negative. Life is so unpredictable, one day everything is “Peachy Keen” and then next your world is turned upside down. I believe that all of us, at one point in our lives has wanted something that someone else had, whether is was as a child or an adult, as a sibling, a parent or friend, and then we realize that “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side”.
Has that ever happened to you?
Last evening, hubby and I attended a”Green Tie Friendraiser“ at The Chase Center on the Riverfront hosted by The Delaware Financial Literacy Institute. It was wonderful event for a worthy cause and I will provide more details in a separate post. During the evening we met some great people and had a chance to unwind and mingle after a long day at work. I was also presented with a fantastic opportunity which I will reveal later once I get more information.
It was a wonderful way to jump start the weekend and I hope you all have a happy and safe one!

Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
TGIF, this week has been such an emotional roller coaster that I am looking forward to just kicking back, relaxing and reflecting on our many blessings. I am also looking forward to cleaning out the bottom of my closet and under the beds. Spring is officially here so now it’s time to put away the winter shoes and boots and bring out the sandals. I stopped at Target yesterday to pick up a few groceries and of course made a quick detour through the shoe department. No shoe haul this time but my little eyes did spy several pairs of shoes on clearance that are on my wish list. I also checked out the the Kate Young Collection, this celebrity stylist’s glam collection includes jewelry, handbags and shoes ranging in prices from $15.00 to $90.00.
The only pair that I added to wish list were these yellow cork sandals on sale for $24.99
clearance ankle strap sandals and wedges
Mossimo Color Block Sandals – $19.99
Lonely Prabal Gurung dress on the clearance rack

Hear Ye Hear Ye We Lose an hour of Sleepy on Sundy – boo!
The good thing is we made it through another work week and the weekend is almost here! I am so looking forward to it and will make up that hour loss on Sunday morning. Saturday night will be a late night with me up watching Saturday Night Live with Justin Timerlake as the host AND musical guest!!!!! JT is my all time favorite SNL host and with his new song “Suit and Tie” it’s going to be awesome! Last week Kevin Hart was alright, his opening monologue was hilarious but the skits needed more rehearsing and his use of the words “G*D Dammit” was a bit offensive to me.
I am so looking forward to the beginning of Spring and was taken back when I saw snow flakes this morning, they didn’t last long and I hope not to see anymore until December!!
Bye Bye Snow… Hello Spring Flowers.
