OOTD – Thrifted Tops Tuesday
Posted January 8, 2013
on:Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday
Being the sleepy head that I am, getting up every week day at 6 am definitely does not give me a thrill. However, once I’m up and moving the situation greatly improves especially when I see God’s Glory. Waking up to a beautiful day provides the motivation to have a prosperous one and I hope it’s the same for you.
The rays of sunshine across the frost covered grass gave me pause to stop and say, “Thank you God for another beautiful day”!

OOTD – Broken Boot Heel

on:Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
Today’s titled post; “Broken Boot Heel” makes me wonder why I bought these boots in the first place. I like the color but am no longer excited about them nor do I think they are cute. Perhaps if I had worn them with long pants or a maxi skirt? Hmm…well, I’m wearing them today but will probably donate to Goodwill before the end of the season.
What do think?

Last Weekend in September
Posted September 30, 2012
on:Hello friends, I hope that you had a great weekend. I cannot believe that tomorrow is the first day of October…where did September go? The weekend was uneventful but I did clean out my closet and put away the summer shoes. It’s unbelievable that there were this many shoes in my closet!
I also removed a lot of clothes and next week will be at the Flea Market selling them for $1.00 a piece, anything not sold will be donated to Goodwill. I didn’t get a chance to post Thursday or Friday’s outfits so here they are.
Skirt is NY&Company, top and sandals from Ross
Worthington top from JC Penney, gauchos are a closet staple, boots from Payless. Necklace belonged to my grandmother and it was the first time wearing it.
Saturday night Malik went with a friend to a Homecoming Dance and was excited to be riding in a Mercedes, which belonged to Mike’s mother – I wish I had a Benz! I didn’t ask, but wonder if they coordinated their attire with the car – lol!
