Go Red for Women Campaign

The American Heart Association will be celebrating National Wear Red Day For Women on Friday, 2/1/13
Merck and Macy’s are national sponsors, and on Feb 1st through the 5th, Macy’s will be offering an additional 20% off select items if you are wearing red in store or online using the code “RED”.
I will be participating in the effort to drive awareness of this deadly disease by taking part in a “Pin Red For Women Campaign” and am asking you, my fabulous followers to join me. The only requirement is for you to follow me on Pinterest, (DeDivahDeals) and during the month of February pin pictures of yourself wearing red. Throughout the month I will check your boards and repin the pictures onto mine and by the end of the campaign we will all be joined together for a common cause in a sea of Red.
I thank God that no women in my family has succumbed to this deadly disease but as an ex-smoker, not a day goes by that I don’t think of the damage it caused to my heart and lungs. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer in women and together we can help rid the world of this deadly disease by joining in this powerful movement.
