on:Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
I am so excited because tomorrow is the first Flea Market of the season at Dutch Country Farmers Market in Middletown and I will be there bright and early! Â I love getting rid of unused household items and making extra cash while doing it. Â Yard Sales are also great ways to accomplish this but there is more foot traffic at Farmers’ Market and I look forward to seeing AND buying from the other vendors. Â This season in addition to the household items, books and of course shoes, I will also be selling wholesale costume jewelry and am anxious to see how it goes. Â I purchased necklaces, bracelets and rings from a wholesale dealer in anticipation of making a good profit – I hope it pans out – wish me luck!
Today is casual Friday so I’m wearing jeans, PINK jeans…I didn’t want it to be too much so decided to wear a long Tunic over them, what do you think?
Do you like Flea Markets and Yard Sales?
Tunic – East Eassence.com // Liz Claiborne Jeans – JC Penney // Attention Shoes – Kmart

Hello Friends, I hope you are having a terrific Tuesday.
It appears as though everyone is back to work because the commute was slow and I drove even slower trying to save gas. Can you believe the prices, I last paid $3.65 for a gallon and it’s goes up a few cents every day. Â How much is it in your area?
My commute is 100 miles round trip and it is definitely putting a dent in my wallet, so to save money I have vowed not to shop until April when the prices are supposed to drop. The economic recovery is no where near where it should be and these gas prices aren’t helping! Â Before my self imposed shopping freeze I was able to snag two skirts from JC Penney’s for $5 each and am wearing one of them with a thrifted top and blazer.
Liz Claiborne Collection Skirt – JC Penney // Oxblood Top – GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Black Blazer – GW Boutique
Necklace and Earrings – Payless // Ring – Avon // Hose – Walmart
The Merona pumps were part of the clearance shoe haul from Target.
