OOTD – Tuesday’s Testimony
Posted March 12, 2013
on:Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday, it’s another dark, damp and dreary day but my prayers were answered so for that I am thankful!
Driving into work this morning I was thinking about a financial situation and became a little depressed. When I got to my desk instead of reading today’s passage from “Our Daily Bread“, I read the scriptures on page 64, of “Gods Promises for every day“, What to do when you feel Worried“. In less than 5 minutes my phone rang with an answer to my prayers,
Tuesday’s Testimony – God is Good!
Give all your worries to him, because he cares about you – 1 Peter 5:7
Jesus said, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and Trust in me.” John 14:1
Today’s outfit is a Tribal Throwback, hubby had these matching vests made during our first year of marriage in 1991, you know that newlywed stage when it was cute to dress alike! #2 son wanted his father’s vest, but he said, “no, wait until I retire and then you can have all my clothes”, so I gave him mine.
This morning I shopped my son’s closet for my vest.
Black Slacks – Closet Staple // Denim (Chambray) shirt – Avon // Mossimo Pumps – Target

OOTD – HAPPY FRI-YAY!
Posted December 7, 2012
on:Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
I hope your day is going well and that plans for the weekend are in full gear – enjoy! My mother-in-law is doing well and I thank you for all your prayers. Tonight the boys and I will be visiting taking a small table-top Christmas Tree to brighten up the room and raise her spirits. All week I have been psyching myself up to start decorating and have decided that tomorrow is the day, oh Lord. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like decorating for the holidays, it just getting motivated to start because I HAVE TOO DAMN MUCH. If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen pics of just a few bins of Christmas decorations that are in my basement’s crawlspace. When my sons were younger, they were all gung-ho and couldn’t wait to help – now it’s like pulling teeth and hubby is a Muslim so he only helps to put the boxes away, the majority of the work falls on me. The older I get the more I understand why people paid others to decorate their homes, remember this episode from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”?
It’s not as cold as I expected but there’s a cold rain falling so I bundled up with a scarf for casual Friday.
Leopard Print Scarf – “Design A Can” Flea Market Vendor // Lime Green Brushed Suede Top – GW Boutique (Goodwill // Black Pants – Closet staple // Black Loafers – Walmart

OOTD – Black and White Monday
Posted December 4, 2012
on:Hello friends and Happy Monday…Tuesday sorry – yesterday’s post was dedicated to my mother-in-law so I didn’t feature an outfit of the day. Before I begin I want to thank everyone for their comments as well as prayers because I do believe in the power of it! Yesterday she had a good day and although her body is weak and frail her mind is sharp and active – so keep on praying.
Monday’s outfit was a combo of black and white but I need to use splashes of color, I’ll be looking for some colorful scarves at Goodwill or maybe Plato’s Closet . I have never gone to a Plato’s Closet although there is one in Exton just a few miles from my job, and there is also one about a mile from The Hospice on Limestone Road, I’ll check one of them.
Scarf and Cowl neck top – closet staples // Houndstooth skirt – Goodwill // Black Studded Pumps – Goodwill
I wore a bunch of silver bangles, a pair of silver earrings and silver ring with a red stone, the only splash of color – lol
Again, thank you so much for praying – have a wonderful evening – Smooches!
