OOTD – Smile…Say Cheese!
Posted April 11, 2013
on:Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
Why do we use the phrase, “smile, say cheese” when taking pictures…”CHEESE” really, isn’t there another word in the English language that makes you wanna smile?
#1 son is my photographer and all he does is point and shoot, he never tells me to say “cheese” or “smile or even “hold in your stomach” (which is obvious in these pics), so this morning I decided not to smile and this is what we got.
How does your photographer get you to smile?
Look at these legs – they need some sun badly!
I am so thankful for yet another beautiful day which makes it hard not to smile!

OOTD – Week of Winter
Posted March 21, 2013
on:Hello Friends and Happy Thursday, hope your day is going well.
Having Tuesday off from work has me a day behind mentally which may not be a bad thing because tomorrow is FRI-YAY!!!! Â It was somewhat depressing reading through the blogs last night, seeing all those beautiful and colorful maxi dresses and wishing for warmer days instead of dealing with these cold Winter winds. Â This morning we were greeted with snow showers…really Mother Nature – c’mon Spring!
In these pictures I may be smiling but I’m definitely not excited about these outfits, I want to shed the layers!

OOTD – Gazebo in Glasgow
Posted March 9, 2013
on:Hello Friends, I hope you had a wonderful Saturday!
The weather here was absolutely GORGEOUS and like almost everyone else in town we spent most of the day outdoors. Â My son and I had a few errands to run which included a stop at Rugged Wearhouse in Glasgow. Â There’s a gazebo behind one of the medical centers with a lake (and a Home Depot) in the background which made for a good spot to take pictures.

He has a job interview next week and needed a few pair of pants

OOTD – Casual FriYay

Hear Ye Hear Ye We Lose an hour of Sleepy on Sundy – boo!
The good thing is we made it through another work week and the weekend is almost here!  I am so looking forward to it and will make up that hour loss on Sunday morning.  Saturday night will be a late night with me up watching Saturday Night Live with Justin Timerlake as the host AND musical guest!!!!!  JT is my all time favorite SNL host and with his new song “Suit and Tie” it’s going to be awesome!  Last week Kevin Hart was alright, his opening monologue was hilarious but the skits needed more rehearsing and his use of the words “G*D Dammit” was a bit offensive to me.
I am so looking forward to the beginning of Spring and was taken back when I saw snow flakes this morning, they didn’t last long and I hope not to see anymore until December!!
Bye Bye Snow… Hello Spring Flowers.
