As with most stores, the fall fashions were in stock well before Labor Day to capture the back to school crowd as well as the excitement of updating our fall wardrobes. Rugged Wearhouse is a clothing store that has really stepped up their game. I remember years ago this store carried mainly jeans and t-shirts for young adults and school age kids, and although this is still their primary target the selection of women’s wear has greatly improved. To further entice the more mature buyer they recently introduced a Rewards Program. When you sign up online you will receive a card which is presented at checkout. The reward is $5.00 off your next purchase if you spend at least $25.00.
On this trip I did spend more than $25.00, and here are the items that I purchased.
Price point for these tops starts at $7.99
Price point for these dresses start at $12.99
Shoes are a hit or miss, depending on when they get a shipment, I saw several pairs of boots but wanted to wait because I couldn’t remember what I already had in my closet. I did however, get these purple ones because I knew I didn’t have any in this color and I liked the funky heels!
Shoe price point varies, these were $9.99
Accessories galore starting as low as $.99 cents.
I purchased 2 necklaces for $1.49, a pair of earrings and bracelets for $3.99 each.
Scarves and purses start at $4.99

Indian Fashion Boutique
Posted June 9, 2012
on:If you’ve read the July issue of People Style Watch or any other fashion magazine you’ll see articles about ways to dress up T shirts and tanks with statement pieces. I discovered an Indian Boutique in New Castle that carries some really nice items with reasonable prices. I purchased two pairs of earrings and toe rings which were placed in a box as opposed to a plastic shopping bag which was a nice touch. The boutique also carries Indian designed dresses, scarves and shoes but the jewelry is the true deal, currently 40% off select items. The next time yor’re in need of a nice statement piece for a casual t shirt/tank or special event, check out the Indian Fashion Boutique.
The boutique is located at 335 S. DuPont Highway, Buena Vista Shoppes in New Castle, 302-276-1569 Indian_Fashion_Boutique@yahoo.com
My favorite consignment shop is Charmingly Linda’s and she is having a big Memorial Day Sale, 3 days Everything is 30% off ! Â Earlier in the week I had stopped in and made a small purchase, and while there saw a pair of espadrilles that I liked but didn’t buy. Â The next day I read about the sale on her Facebook post and made plans to go back on Thursday.
Linda has racks and racks of awesome designer women’s and men’s clothing, her boutique is warm and inviting and the customers are friendly. Â After I completed my purchase I stayed a little longer assisting a few others with their selections. Â For a short time I was a thrift fashion consultant, which was fun and just might become my second career.
