Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday
After all the cleaning of the closets I realized that I still didn’t have a decent pair of summer shorts. Â I also needed wanted a white denim skirt to wear with a pair of blue and white Polka Dot flats. Â Not wanting to pay retail because I can’t wear shorts to work I instead headed to the GW Boutique in Exton.
I hadn’t been to this location in almost a year and it had definitely changed. Â They expanded into the vacant shoe store next door to make it larger with a better footprint.
I found a white denim skirt in the first 5 minutes – #winning
Next were the shorts – #winning

3 pair for the price of one in the store!!!
Couldn’t pass up the Polka Dots

Free Thrifted Haul

on:My co-worker knows that I love thrifting, she and I have even gone to Goodwill together during a lunch break. Â She knows there is no shame in my game when it comes to thrifting clothes especially for my sons. Â Last week she had a bag of clothes in her car that her son had outgrown, and asked if I wanted them. Â I could sense she was a little hesitant with the offer because she followed up with, Â “if you can’t use them, you can donate them to Goodwill”. Â Of course, I said, “yes”. Â Later in the day she put the bag into my car so I didn’t see the contents until I got home that evening. Â This bag contained some great stuff for my son who will be starting back to school next week!
The shopping bag was filled with shirts, pants, shorts and jeans, all in excellent condition and smelling freshly laundered. Â The name brand items included Old Navy, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, JC Penney’s and The Gap. Â My sons were thrilled with the haul and each went through the items designating which ones they wanted. Â The pants fit nicely around the waist, but hubby will need to alter the length because my co-worker’s son stands 6 ‘ 8″, taller than anyone in my house! Â This was my first FREE thrifted haul ever!!!
OOTD – Heading to the Dentist

on:Yesterday I had a dental appointment and because I live in Delaware, it didn’t make since to drive to work in Pennsylvania afterwards so I took a vacation day.  The weather was extremely nice, not too hot and humid so instead of a maxi dress, I wore shorts, and a tank top with flip flops.  I joined the BLMGirls Facebook group and while reading the blogs I found recommendations for various photo editing websites, I used Pixl to edit and create this collage.

OOTD – Cool Cotton Thursday

on:Last week’s heat wave officially ended on Monday with temps only reaching 89 degrees, but today it’s expected to be 92 or higher. Â Last week my outfits were shorts, tanks and bathing suits but that’s not going to fly at work, so cotton is the perfect fabric to keep me cool in this weather. Â The sleeveless cotton shirt and skirt were thrifted from two different Goodwill stores earlier in the season.
